Mold Maker/ Tool Maker ($28-$32/hr)



Mold Builder / Toolmaker ($28-$32/hr.)

We are seeking an experienced Mold Builder/Toolmaker with 4+ years of experience building injection molds, steel stamping dies, or similar tooling. Ideal candidates will have strong toolroom experience and a focus on injection molds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual toolroom equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, EDM, etc.)
• Manufacture and assemble tooling to tight tolerances based on prints and specifications
• Perform finish fitting and troubleshooting on custom tooling
• Collaborate with quality to ensure parts meet standards throughout production
• Create and maintain setup documentation
• Communicate project status and issues with supervisors and team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Extensive experience with toolroom machines and various steels/plastics
• Proven ability to complete machine setups and perform equipment adjustments/repairs
• Experience with CamWorks and/or Haas machines preferred
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth mics, etc.)
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical toolroom tasks
• Solid understanding of shop safety practices (LOTO, PPE, hazard communication)
