HVAC Technician Overview

Hiring Immediately! We are seeking a full-time skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance. This position will be part of a facilities team at a laboratory facility in Omaha. Pays $25-30/hr!

Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems supporting laboratory spaces, including air handlers, chillers, VAV systems, and exhaust/ventilation units.
• Monitor and calibrate environmental controls to maintain precise temperature, humidity, and air quality standards required for lab operations and cleanroom environments.
• Support equipment performance validation, documentation, and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, GMP, or biosafety requirements).
• Collaborate with engineering and facilities teams to optimize system efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and minimize downtime across critical lab infrastructure.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Must pass drug test and background check
• EPA Certification is preferred but not required
• Previous maintenance role preferred
