Job Description

Arrow Solutions Group is seeking a DevOps Microservices Engineer for our client north of Denver, CO.  Do you love tackling problems head-on? Do you enjoy coming up with creative solutions to a business’s pain points? Are you constantly updating your knowledge of hardware and software trends and advancements? You will become part of a technical team and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a reliable, stable, up-to-date, high performance environment
  • Mentor and train stakeholders and systems users with passion and enthusiasm
  • Able to develop, maintain, and measure process improvements pertaining to both the technology and the business environment
  • Acts as liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for change to business processes and information systems
  • Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals
  • Automates manual processes with a focus and understanding of improvement cycles

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Information Technology, or related technical field of study
  • 5 + years of experience with Windows system administration 
  • Additional experience with Linux administration, VMWare/virtualization, CloudOps, ISS SME & tuning, Microservices/Restful,
  • Additional experience in security hardening, identity management, SSO and automatic installations
  • Container experience and ability to manage decoupling systems
  • Experience setting up, supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting micro-services infrastructure using active directory, group policy, PowerShell, and other Windows utilities
  • Administering computer systems in a 24/7 high availability operational environment
  • Administration and maintenance of network systems infrastructure management tools or systems including anti-virus, patch deployment, log management, software deployment and backup and recovery functions
  • Solid analytical, critical thinking skills, troubleshooting ability and performance monitoring
  • Ability to pass a background test and drug test
  • Must work on-site north of Denver, Colorado
  • Will not sponsor applicants for work visas
